Practical Wind Turbine Blade Repair
This advanced practical skills course gives an introduction to using adhesive, fillers and laminating materials whilst working at height.

Using our unique training facility the course will cover safe handling of materials while in the air for those who have not had experience in this field. Practical repair will be undertaken on our blade simulator and give the candidate a unique insight into repairing and maintaining blades and the challenges involved.
Practical skills covered:
Rope access and rigging overview for WTG Nacelle
Working at Height overview
Safe use of tools at height
Electrical tools (battery and mains) for sanding and grinding
Introduction to composite materials
Safe storage and use whilst aloft
Practical skills combining rope and repair work
This course includes the BRAI Awareness Composites RTTBRAI1 and Abrasive Wheels RTTABR1
