GWO Manual Handling
Manual Handling training course that covers the basic safety and competence required for personnel working within a wind turbine or associated infrastructure.
This course applies to both on-shore and off-shore activities.
On completion of training, participants will be able to demonstrate understanding of the importance of carrying out work duties in a safe and sound manner in accordance with legislative requirements, identify aspects of their job tasks that could increase a worker’s risk of developing muscular injuries and demonstrate a problem solving approach to Manual Handling in a wind turbine environment.
The training course content is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation.
Minimum age 18. Medical declaration required to attend. Must be fluent in English for safety reasons.

Practical and written
Medical requirements: A self-certified statement of reasonable medical fitness will be required prior to attendance. Should be comfortable with exposure to height.
